Commonwealth's Attorney
Regina Sykes serves as the elected Commonwealth's Attorney for Sussex County, Virginia. In this role, she is responsible for prosecuting criminal cases on behalf of the Commonwealth and ensuring that justice is administered fairly and impartially throughout Sussex County. Chief Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney
Almetia F. Hardman serves as Chief Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney, assisting in the prosecution of criminal cases and supporting the overall operations of the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office.
Senior Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney
Kateland A. Henson serves as Senior Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney, prosecuting criminal cases on behalf of the Commonwealth in Sussex County courts.
Victim Witness Director
Kortni B. Ivey serves as the Victim Witness Director, overseeing the Victim/Witness Assistance Program. She works to ensure that crime victims and witnesses receive the support, information, and resources they need throughout the criminal justice process. Her program provides free, confidential services to all crime victims in Sussex County.
